I have used 1and1 in the past and switched to Hostgator about 9 months ago. A friend of mine who develops websites use them so I figured I would give them a try.
I have been very happy with the support, uptime, and performance. Support is very helpful and does a great job at helping me fix WordPress issues. The uptime is outstanding. My site hasn’t been down more than a handful of times in 9 months. Currently, using their cloud plan which I noticed a huge improvement from my previous host.
Very happy with them and will continue to use them and I highly recommend them to everyone.
